Happy 2016

Happy New Year to All! We are excited to start this new year with you! God is opening some really amazing doors for us and we are ready to get started!

We will be visiting different schools in the following weeks to introduce our tutoring center and really get it out in the open. Up until this point it's mostly been word of mouth and wow what a blessing we have had with up to 23 students at a time. But God has given us the green light to really get the word out there and bust these doors wide open! Praying for open minds, hearts, and understanding of the vision given to us by God. We will also be searching for a building to rent/buy to move the center out of our home. This is a HUGE need for our ministry. As much as we have loved having it in our home we feel now that we have our little girl and many students it is that time to separate the two.

ANOTHER exciting note, a door has been opened for us for the following 2016-2017 school year. We have yet to decide if this is the right decision for this ministry but we would love for you to join us in prayer on this decision.

We thank you for all your support and prayers! Feel free to contact us through e-mail at imforgivn01@hotmail.com

Our Family

Thank you for joining us on our journey of God's Will for our life. For those of you who don't know us. My husband is Ariel Fernando, I am Heather, and we just added a new addition to our family, Skyler Mercedes. Fernando is from here in Honduras, I am from the United States and our daughter is in the process of duel citizenship. We are in our 20's (though I'm getting closer to 30) and our daughter will be 3 months in just a few days. Fernando grew up here in Siguatepeque, Honduras and I grew up in Augusta, Georgia. We come from large Godly families and owe them everything. We are excited at the future God has planned for us and can't wait to share it with you.

My Own Painted Sunrise

The morning after we were robbed for the first time I was on a mountain side having my quiet time. I was so angry and so hurt that God allowed it to happen after just a few months of being there. I didn't understand why he would allow such a cruel thing to happen when we were there doing His Will. I was just ranting when all the sudden out of the corner of my eye I saw something...I turned to look and there it was. This beautiful painted sunrise. At that point I just sighed and I thanked Him. It honestly felt as if He painted it just for me. And all the anger was gone. It didn't matter that I didn't understand because He did. It was a reminder that He had not left me. Or that it happened while He wasn't looking. He knew what was going on but He was still there.

Once I looked back on it, I gave Him many thanks. I was supposed to be home sick that day. My roommates and some people at work were telling me not to go. But that morning, I had the strongest desire to be there. And it's a good thing I did or I would have been home when they invaded the house. What a Savor we have.

Amen

Life Time Sisters

August 16, 2008...little did I know that my 1 year in Honduras would turn into forever. I met these amazing women in the Atlanta airport early morning. Sheri (Wade) Bielma and Emily (Marino) Oon <>, 3 strangers answering the call of God. And boy was it a journey! I couldn't have picked better women to have started this experience with. We were sick together, we were robbed together, we had lice together...oh the joys. We also celebrated together, watched lightening storms together, grew together, laughed together, cried together, marched in the parade together. I learned so much from these two I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am now without them.
